Use this procedure to restrict page access to a certain group of users. You can also force a page to use the same personalization settings as the page's parent.
Note: This procedure is only effective once your system administrator has completed this procedure: Creating restricted access sections on your site.
Edit the page you wish to personalize. This will usually be the parent page of an entire section that you wish to isolate and require logins for.
For example, you may have a link to your Finance department on your site. The Finance parent page would require that users log in and once they do, they would gain access to the Finance parent page and its child pages - other pages of the Finance department.
Click on the Personalization tab. If the tab is not displayed, see your site administrator.
Note: Only authorized users can set personalization settings.
Complete the Personalization tab settings.
Click Save and submit the page for publication.
Note: Personalization only works in a dynamic site environment. You may add a login page within your static site for visitors to access personalized content, but the personalized pages will remain within your dynamic URL.
