For users who do not wish to use a full-featured WYSIWYG content editor, the ACM provides an alternative with its plain-text editor. In order to use the editor, you must set it as the default editor on your My Page.
Logon to the ACM and go to My Page.
In the HTML Editor drop-down, select Plain Text.
Click Save.
This new setting will be retained from session to session. Now when you edit a page, you will see the simplified plain-text editor rather than the WYSIWYG editor. Use this same procedure to turn the WYSIWYG editor back on.
