The System toolbar is located at the top of the page content area when you are logged into the ACTIVE CM. Your user rights determine which buttons are available.
The complete toolbar, as seen by Site Administrators and others with sufficient rights, appears as follows:
Click on each of the following links below to see what each toolbar option does.

The "Hello...." information displayed here, as well as the choice of first name or last name, is controlled in the Global System Variables manager on the Admin Toolbar tab.
Use this button to add a child page to the current page.
Mouse over the button and select the type of child page to add. The Page Editor opens and displays the new page. You can complete the edits and submit the page for publication.
This button is only displayed if you have rights to edit the current page.
The My Sites menu shows all web sites to which you have access. If you are looking for a web site and it is not in the list, speak to your site administrator.
The Site Menu displays the site map for the site you are currently logged into. Use this menu to quickly navigate to one of the pages on your web site.
The site's administrator can set the number of levels visible on the site menu.
My Page is where you manage your personal information including your home page setting, your name and email address, and your password. You may also see reports showing which pages require your approval, review or other action.
My Page is only available to users who have logged in and have access to the My Page tool based on their permission group. Your site administrator is responsible for providing permissions.
The System option is usually only available to users with special permissions. System options allow administrators to create and manage users, groups, site settings, page types, site design, metadata terms, and system events and variables.
Authorized users can also control workflows, digital assets, syndication, email broadcasts, and a variety of other system monitoring and maintenance functions.
The ACM has an add-on feature that allows you to share published page content with social media such as Twitter. When the system has been configured to include this add-on functionality, the Admin Toolbar displays an additional button - the Share button.
This button expands the toolbar to display a list of all configured social media options. Selecting a social media option changes the display to include whichever social media option was selected.
In order to promote content on a social media product, a page must be in a published state (or exported if a static site). If the page is not yet published, the expanded section of the toolbar displays the following message:
“This page has not yet been published so it cannot be shared.”
Click this button to access the online help system and information about your current release of the ACM.
