Each site created with the Content Management System contains a Design Package made up of template and stylesheet files that control how different types of site components and pages are displayed. By employing templates, the Design Package ensures a consistent look and feel throughout the entire site. Every page has a template assigned and each template contains custom Tags used to control specialized look, feel, content and functionality.
There is one active Design Package for each site. The package is a compressed .zip file that can be downloaded and edited.
Design Templates are managed in standard HTML, which designers can edit with their favorite editor application. The templates are downloaded, edited and then re-uploaded to the system with images, CSS and specially formatted XML files to form the complete design package.
