Page Summary Section

• Title: The title you enter here appears at the top of the published page. It also becomes the link text for navigating to this page. The font style, size and color are pre-determined by design templates. You cannot change them.

• Active Checkbox: Defaults to checked when you first create a page. If you uncheck this option, the page will be inactivated. You can reactivate it later by editing the parent of this page and changing its status on the Child Pages tab. Note that a site's Home Page does not have an Active checkbox.

• Menu Title: The text you enter here is displayed on the section menu. When users click on this title it takes them to this page. If you leave this field blank, the menus in your system will use the Title text instead of the Menu Title text.

• URL Title: If you wish, the contents of this field can be used for display on Site Maps instead of the Title field. If you export your sites and you leave this field blank, the export uses the Title field for the filename. If you are not sure if you export your site, speak to your site administrator. Use only alphanumeric characters in the URL Title field. All other characters will be converted to underscores.

• HTML Title: The title you enter here gets entered into the HTML <Title> tag, which is the field that search engines look at when scanning the web. In other words, you can use this field to enter a title that will optimize your site's ranking in the list of search results. If you leave the field blank, the system uses the contents of the Title field.

• Show Workflow Notes: Click this link to see the history of edits and actions taken on this page.

• Location: This shows the location of the current page within the current site's page hierarchy.

• Move  Page: Use this link to move a page from its current location to another location within your web site. See Moving pages within a site.

• Copy Page: Use this link to create a duplicate of the current page in another location within your site. Once you have copied the page to the new location, you can edit and publish the page. See Copying pages.

• Page Type: Tells you what type of page you are creating/editing. See Page types and their usage.

• Page ID: This is the automatically generated number assigned by the ACM when the page is created. This number forms part of the page filename. For example, Page ID: 4 will have a filename of Page4.aspx.

• Site ID: The Site ID indicates which site number the page belongs to.

• Page Owner: This field is only displayed if the Page Owner feature has been set up in the Global System Variables and the Group Manager. If you are using this feature and it has been configured by your site administrator, you can simply select the owner of the page from the drop-down box. See Setting up the page owner feature and Assigning page owners to pages.

• Save and apply to children: Click this link to assign the same Page Owner to all the child pages of this page.

• Do NOT serve content to external sources: This field is only displayed in the page summary section if you are editing a syndicated page (e.g. Syndicated Event, Syndicated KB Article, etc.). Check this checkbox if you want to prevent this page from being seen by external systems that are using your syndicated content.

• Available for Mobile: If the ACM's Mobile Device functionality is enabled, this box is displayed in the page summary section of every page in edit mode. It defaults to checked making the page available for viewing on mobile devices. If you do not want users to view this page on mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.), uncheck this box. When this box is checked, an additional tab is displayed in page edit mode - the Mobile tab.
  
  Note that pages that are not available for mobile devices, are also not displayed in the site navigation or child page menus.

• Access restrictions: The Access restrictions field is visible only to system administrators working in full-edit mode. Options are:

• • No restrictions

  • Only system administrators can delete this page

  • Only system administrators can edit and/or delete this page

System administrators can prevent other users from editing or deleting pages.

• Active Passport SSO: Select this checkbox to use ACTIVE Passport single sign-on for this page. When a user browses to this page, ACM attempts to log the user in through Passport.
