When you have finished creating your site and uploading your customized site design package, the system is set so that child pages use the same design template as their parent pages. Use this procedure to apply different design templates to the pages and sections of your site.
From the System Menu, open the Site Design option.
From the Site drop-down, select a Site.
In the Page List section, select a Page and click the Edit link beside the page name. This will allow you to change the settings for the selected page.
Uncheck the Use Parent Page's Template checkbox. This will allow you to select a different template for the current page.
From the Template drop-down, select one of the Templates to apply to this page. If no templates are displayed in the drop-down, you will need to edit your design package and create templates. See the ACM Design Guide for additional information.
Only click Save and Apply to Children if you want all of the child pages of this page to use this same template. If you want the child pages of this page to use a different template, you can skip this step.
Only complete this step if you want to apply different templates to the child pages of this page. From the Child Template drop-down, select a template to apply to all existing child pages.
Click Apply to Children. A message is displayed indicating that the selected template has been applied to all of the existing child pages. Click OK (new child pages will not automatically use this template: you will have to reapply the template to all children).
Click Save.
